"This Sea Reflects Stars were an ambient/post-rock based in Stockwell, South London. Formed in 2008 as childhood friends, the trio managed to record a collection of sounds, or EP, now aptly deemed "Sorry, Thank You, Goodnight" (Inspired by some last words muttered as Daniel Johnston once walked off of stage, after a short, uncomfortable performance the band had once attended. The EP consists of 9 nostalgia-induced tracks (including a bonus track recorded live in 2008 ft. Kalou) , self-recorded & produced by the band themselves between 2008-2015. Their musical influences ranged from Pat Metheney to Do Make Say Think, to Steve Reich to Brian Eno, just to name a few.. These songs truly capture the sheer beauty and environmental influence taken on by This Sea Reflects Stars while surrounding themselves amidst the quiet, relaxing countryside & cottages around South West England during writing sessions. Although all three members still remain good friends to this day, sadly they are no longer writing music or performing together anymore - but this is one final tribute to what wonder they managed to capture throughout their endearing albeit, short existence. They do still have some extremely interesting & exciting solo projects to look out for in the near future! So, of course, keep your eyes peeled!"
